A silent film me and my friend Erica did for our film history project. We’re both animators and figured a tribute to the first American animator would be cool. Also, we like pretty trippy stuff with weird effects. The original short film is “Dream of the Rarebit Fiend” (1903) and is available on YouTube.

Stopmotion, 2009. I had to switch haiku with a classmate, who is male and, of course, into the yellow snow. I had a lot of fun with the salt animation. Except I got salt everywhere. If you look closely you see the marshmallows melt under the hot lights, but it’s ok, I find that cute.
